About the AuthorNicole Chambers is a quilt designer and teacher who is committed to encouraging all quilters to honor their unique creativity, always coaxing them to stretch their boundaries a little with every project. Before starting her pattern company, Nicole's Art to Live With in 1994; Nicole used her creative design and writing skills by working for many years as a Communications Specialist for a variety of companies. Although she thoroughly enjoyed this career, when she found herself sneaking quilting books into the office in "plain brown wrappers" - it was time to reconsider her career path. It was then that she decided to turn her talents toward the quilting world. She is presently working on her third book: More SIMPLE QUILTS with Splash, Dash & Panache due to be published in May 2005.
